About Me

thumbnail_IMG_4897_edited.png

I have been a qualified Physiotherapist for over 10 years, with clinical experience in both NHS and the private sector. I graduated from the University of Birmingham from the school of Physiotherapy with Honours in 2012 and have been a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy ever since. I have a Level 3 ITEC diploma in Sports Massage since 2011. I qualified in Acupuncture through the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in 2016 and had an article published in the Journal of Acupuncture.

I also work as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in the Community Orthopaedic team as part of Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust.  As part of this work I am a qualified injector and regularly request and interpret imaging alongside clinical examination. I have worked as a Musculoskeletal Specialist in Birmingham and Somerset, including as a clinical lead for a Balance and Vestibular clinic. I have extensive experience assessing and treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions in all ages and know the value of bespoke assessment and treatment.

I am a keen triathlete having recently completed Ironman UK this year and Ironman 70.3 in Weymouth. I have also participated in many local events like the Oysterman Triathlon, Canterbury 10 miler and Kent Spring Marathon. I have raced over 15 half marathons so I know first hand the demands training can have on the body!
